Normally plaid wallpaper and antler lamps aren't really our thing, but it's been snowing all day here in Chicago and we're warming up to the rustic style of this French ski lodge. Can't you just picture taking off your boots in front of the fire with a cup of hot chocolate?
Maybe the cold weather has frozen our brain, but we're really digging some of the woodsy details in this chalet. The tartan motifs, the patterned wood ceilings, log walls, and tree trunk endtables are kind of cool.
Located along the Mont-d'Arbois Mountain Range, the aesthetics of the place are those of a classic ski lodge mixed with a few designy details, like Philippe Starck lamps and silver-plated director's chairs.
